On June 11, 2015, at the Annual Ontario Bar Association Awards for Excellence, Fareen Jamal was named to the Ontario Bar Association Family Law Section Executive as Vice Chair.
Ms. Jamal will serve in this capacity for a two year term, after which she will continue in service as the Chair of OBA - Family Law Section for an additional two years.

FAREEN JAMAL WINS HEATHER MCARTHUR MEMORIAL YOUNG LAWYERS AWARD
The OBA's Heather McArthur Memorial award recognizes exceptional contributions and/or achievements by a young lawyer in the field of continuing legal education or development of the law for the benefit of the profession or the citizens of Ontario. Such contribution or achievement may, for example and without limitation, relate to authorship, presentation, innovation, organization or delivery of programs or materials in respect of continuing legal education, professional development or law reform.
